“Whatever you ask isn’t going to help the poor souls that have been affected by it…When you’re over there, and they’re spraying Agent Orange, and you don’t know that there’s anything bad, there really isn’t anything you can do to protect yourself. That would be the part that upsets me about it. I feel kind of cheated. I know other people feel cheated, too..”

Success in Vietnam October 16 – November 1, 2008

A Permanent Mark had a remarkable time in Vietnam in 2008. To everyone who made a contribution supporting our trip, thank you so much for your generosity!

In the coming months, I will be logging and transcribing the 80+ hours of footage we captured in Vietnam. I'll also be networking with my nonprofit friends and supporters, including the East Meets West Foundation, War Legacies Project, Spina Bifida Association of Western Pennsylvania, and other organizations I am approaching to help spread the word about A Permanent Mark. I am now about 90% finished with filming. Editing is my new focus.

To complete a work-in-progress cut of the film, I am aiming to raise $75,000 in donations. Donations to A Permanent Mark are fully tax-deductible through our sponsor, Film Arts Foundation, a nonprofit organization that supports independent film.

To make a gift, click here to go to the San Francisco Film Society: A Permanent Mark Donations website where you can make a secure online donation.

Or, mail your check, made payable to “San Francisco Film Society” and send it to Holly Million, 182 Howard Street, #401, San Francisco, CA 94105.

In either case, you will receive an acknowledgement letter for your tax purposes.

If you make a contribution of $500 or more, your name will appear in the film credits, and I will mail you a copy of the final film.
